How much does reinstallation cost?
That depends on what you order. Labor intensive items such as roof lines and tree wraps or canopies have a higher reinstallation cost than greenery (wreaths or garlands). The discount for reinstallation can fall between 20% and 50%, depending on your order. Most orders end up between 25% and 30%. To receive the highest discount possible, we offer our returning customers a “Christmas in July” special. To the Top
How high do you wrap trees?
Most trees will be decorated 2/3 of their height and width or farther into the branches and trunk. Larger trees will be wrapped to a reasonable level. We do not wrap every branch but do a nice sampling of larger branches to provide you with an even 360-degree view. We are conscious of the integrity of your trees, as well as the safety of our crews. Please take a look at our gallery to see some samples of our work.To the Top
When do I need to contact you for a quote?
Our installation schedule fills up quickly. As soon as you decide you would like a quote, please contact us. We will have a representative meet with you anytime during the year. We are in Christmas mode 365 days a year and we never charge for a quote. To the Top
When do you start installations?
We start some installations as early as mid-October. At that time, we only install lighting that is not noticeable unless turned on. We return closer to Thanksgiving to install the greenery. We start full installations (lights and greenery) the week prior to Thanksgiving. We are happy to install your complete job before that if you would like.To the Top
What if it rains on my installation date?
Protection of your property and the safety of our crews are our top priorities. If it rains on your installation day, we may have to reschedule your installation. Once it is safe to work, we will resume our installation schedule. You will, of course, be notified concerning your new installation date. We know this may be an inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding. To the Top
What if I have a problem with my lights?
Illumineer provides free service calls on all items purchased from us. In most cases, we are able to address service calls within 24 to 48 hours. To the Top
Do you have GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) issues?
Occasionally, as all lighting companies do, we run into GFI problems. These problems are caused by water getting in the line. The GFI will “flip,” causing your breaker to flip, thus cutting the power to the outlets attached to the breaker. We do everything possible to prevent these problems by taping all connections, but sometimes the water is still able to get in. This is a natural problem that occurs when working with temporary power outside. If you have GFI issues, let us know, and we will come to your property as quickly as possible to correct the issue. We are also happy to walk you through the process of correcting the problem, if you are so inclined. To the Top
Do you offer take down and storage?
We schedule takedown by area and zip code, and we strive to have all areas taken down by January 15. However, if you want your lights to be turned off before that, you can simply unplug them, and we will take them down and securely pack them for storage. Storage is offered to all customers at no additional charge. To the Top

Illumineers of SC specializes in holiday lighting, and our clients are our #1 priority. We live holiday lighting and decorating all year round. To the Top
Aren't all holiday lighting companies the same?

Each crew is trained on proper installation procedures to keep your property and our employees safe. Our products are specially made to ensure that our customers receive the best products available. These services allow our customers to have unique and beautiful holiday displays they can be proud of.
Are you insured?
We carry Workers Compensation and Liability Insurance through USAA and are underwritten by The Hartford. The insurance we carry is specific to our industry to ensure coverage in the event of a problem. In all our years of business, we have never had a claim. We provide preseason training on safety and weekly training refreshers during the season.
Do you run background checks on your crews?
